Day 4: Off-day in St. Paul
Hello! We're hanging out in St. Paul for the next few days, but have plenty of things to keep us busy. This morning we went to the Apple store in Roseville with the mindset of district attorneys and walked out with two new phones and a laptop. Do you think we stole them? You decide. Soon we're looking at running to a nearby field to frolic and bask in this beautiful weather. It was raining the last few days, which I don't mind entirely, but this sun is great!
Yesterday we made our way from Mankato to St. Paul. On the way out we stopped at Minneopa State Park and visited the mighty Minneopa Falls. You'll be able to see pictures of the park below, and it will be obvious that the waterfall is feeling a bit ill. Perhaps the river is almost dried up, or maybe it's a seasonal thing. Who knows! I don't.
After the falls we made a second stop at over-sized candy store and I bought myself a 1000 puzzle. I'll try to describe the end result (which I can only see on the box so far) so that you too can feel in awe at its glory. You first must picture the darkside of the Earth with the sun beaming from the horizon just like you would see in any great opener of a sci-fi/planet earth film. The whole picture is shimmering with sunlight. Below, you see a tiger profile proudly standing and looking right above your head. Above, you see another tiger snoozing in the middle of the sunlight. Together they create the deeper puzzle message that tigers will ignore those that chase them with flash photography, but seek a brighter day when they can thrive in the absence of human light. A world without disturbance. You'll see a picture later...
Tomorrow we're going to lock down and get ready for our next run of shows. Our business suits will be on, corporate earpieces connected with our brain, and the voice of a CEO will be screaming orders at us to work overtime until 5pm. Check back with us soon to see what's going on!
